June 8, 2008 in Tongling, Anhui Province, China, a dead baby dolphin suspect to be Baiji Dolphin was discovered. The body has badly decomposed. The length of it is about 80cm. The identification result for the species of it was not published until now, the photo of it isn't published too.

Now the effort to find Baiji Dolphin and preserve Baiji Dolphin live cells is almost stopped completely, no money, no person work for such task full time.
